Turkey, I’m Coming Back!

In a few days, I’ll be off to Istanbul, Turkey. The land that is very special. So special it is until Napoleon was reported to said “If the world was one kingdom, there will be no better city befitting to be its capital than Constantinople (Istanbul)”. The city is even more special as our beloved Prophet S.A.W mentioned: 

“Verily, Constantinople shall be conquered, its commander is the best commander ever and his army is the best army ever” - Hadith

This will be my second visit to Istanbul. The last time I went was in the year 2006. I was amazed with the land. Amazed with its beautiful landscape of Cappadocia, with its friendly and kind people, even amazed with the architecture of the Blue Mosque. Unfortunately, I’m not able to go to the Suleymaniye Mosque. A great piece of Architecture built by a great Ottoman Architect, Mimar Sinan. I promised my self, one day I will come again and visit the Suleymaniye Mosque. Four years have passed since my last visit. Alhamdulillah, I get the opportunity to go to Istanbul for the second time. The opportunity is given by MISG ABIM to be their representative for the International Educational Summer Workshop organised by Divan Research and Education Foundation Turkey. Insha Allah, this time I will not missed the opportunity to visit this great architecture. 

The last Ottoman Empire collapse at the year 1924. 86 years have passed. Alhamdulillah, we can see the light of Islamic reformation in Turkey under the administration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s Prime Minister. I have never seen current Muslim leader that have gain so much supports from his people. I believe Islam will rise again. Its just a matter of time. History shows us, after the collapse of one great Islamic Empire, within 100 years, there will be one new Islamic empire risen and conquering the world again. Its just a matter of time borthers and sisters. Just a matter of time. Allah is with us. We have one most powerful weapons that others don’t have that is “Dua”. Keep on your prayers. Allah shall helps us to rise again Insha Allah.
